Current Status
The Roebling Museum is currently not open to the public because the building is being extensively renovated. Plans are underway for exhibition development, archival organization, implementation of the media room for oral history showings and lectures, and for merchandising the gift shop. The Museum  opening will take place in 2009.
Location
The Museum is located in Roebling, NJ, a section of Florence Township. The town was built in 1905 by Charles Roebling to house the workers of the John A Roebling's Sons Company manufacturing plant. The Museum is in the main gate building that was the entrance to the now defunct plant.
It is approximately 13 miles south of Trenton NJ on the Delaware River and is easily accessible from several main arteries. The Roebling station of the NJ Transit Lightrail is immediately adjacent to the Museum. You enter the Museum site from Hornberger Ave. The parking lot and Museum entrance are on the mill side of the museum building; not the town side. (There is no entrance from Second Ave.) See map.
